Infants grow and learn every day. Discover Our World Academy provides a safe and nurturing environment where infants can explore and make new discoveries. Our program is designed to provide infants with the skills that serve as building blocks for a lifetime of learning.

We help infants explore the concepts of cause and effect trial and error, and object performance through play: provide a variety of materials of different colors, sizes, textures, and shapes: and encourage the use of all five senses to discover the world.

We talk with your infant; communication verbally and through non-verbal gestures; tell Stories and sing songs to model conversational skills; and use picture books to build association between sounds, objects and words.

We provide the tools that promote artistic exploration and creativity with photo cards, puppets, and self expression through movement and music.

We support your infant has he or she rolls from side to side and learns how to crawl, stand, and walk; support the development of motor skills with blocks and shape boards; and meet your child’s individual needs for rest and nutrition.

Toddlers develop friendships, self esteem and curiosity. Our unique early childhood curriculum is based on the fact that children learn by doing. Each day is filled with fun activities that excite and help toddlers develop in ways that give them comfort and confidence to grow and develop both cognitively and socially.

We provide opportunities to help your toddler identify colors shapes and bring concepts to life through storytelling, music, and art. We also encourage them to practice sorting and matching.

We use word games and storytelling to help your child practice imitating and responding, asking questions, and following simple directions; provide practice naming familiar items; and support a rich vocabulary development.

We encourage pretending, role play, and dress up through play with props; support individual expression through participating in group activities; and promote self expression through art and music.

We promote interaction with other children in a group setting. We provide several group activities at Discover Our World Academy. We focus on the development of sharing and listening skills; model how to express motions appropriately; and help guide your child to learn classroom routines.

We teach the children about their body parts through songs, stories and pictures. We promote self skills such as feeding, cleaning, and dressing, and we support large motor development and eye and hand coordination through a variety of activities such as kicking balls, tossing, writing, and drawing.

As preschoolers continue to grow they are getting ready to discover the world. Our preschool curriculum provides children with the confidence and self-esteem that they will need throughout a life time. Through hands on learning children will develop a variety of skills and knowledge in areas like Language arts, science, math, Spanish, and social skills.

We use a language-rich environment to encourage children’s development of early literacy skills through activities like daily read-aloud of high-quality children’s literature to promote a love of reading, journal experiences that give your child the ability to practice writing letters and words, and multiple opportunities to identify and use letters and words to expand their vocabulary and practice their developing abilities to communicate.

We encourage the exploration of the physical properties of materials; use daily calendar activities to teach about sequence of events, patterns, and routines; and support the learning of cognitive skills such as counting, making predictions, testing, and drawing conclusions.

We model social concepts such as “please” and “thank you,” have daily classroom conversations and community-building discussions, explore similarities and differences between children, and encourage cooperation with other children.

We use, stencils, and writing activities to enhance fine-motor skills; strengthen coordination and gross-motor skills through running, jumping, and throwing activities, offer healthful food choices for snacks and meals, and encourage learning about the ways our bodies respond to the exercise and nutrition we take in.

We encourage children to express themselves through creative arts and provide daily opportunities for children to paint, move, and sing, tell stories with puppets, and build and play in dramatic scenes.

We support the application of knowledge in new ways. We encourage curiosity and choice, provide children the opportunity to problem-solve, demonstrate flexibility (in thinking) and use daily routines to promote memory.

At this stage children are getting ready for a new exciting journey. Our program provides math, science, reading, language arts, social studies, in which will help them prepare for the world.

We help your kindergartener participate in collaborative conversation on a variety of topics; support asking and answering thought-provoking questions, reading aloud, and developing writing skills; and encourage expressing thoughts, feelings, and ideas through individual and group discussion.

We provide opportunities to carry out scientific investigations, estimate, and measure; use maps, charts, and graphs to teach about geography; and provide kindergarten age-appropriate experiences with technology, earth science, life science, and physical science.

We provide opportunities for kindergarteners to work in teams; support taking turns to perform classroom jobs to develop cooperation skills, a sense of accomplishment, and pride; and develop a sense of community and cultural awareness through discussions about shared goals and experiences.

We provide good nutrition for healthy bodies through games, sports, and nutrition-focused activities; provide opportunities to practice self-help skills; and build team spirit through team experiences.

We encourage dramatic play, and group activities; support the development of new skills and individual talents in art, music, and dance; and promote creative writing through daily writing opportunities.

At this stage, children are out of school for the day and now attending after care. We provide a comfortable environment. This after school program allows your child to unwind from the normal school day. At this time, they will have the opportunity to learn and have fun through a variety of different experiences.
